Ingredients
600 ml milk |
120 g sugar |
3 yolks |
2 packets vanilla pudding |
200 g butter |
2 TBSP rum |
you can replace the pudding with 80 g of corn starch (Maizena) |
How to prepare
Prepare a thick pudding using the milk, sugar, pudding and yolks. While cooling off, stir the pudding from time to time to prevent the cool outer parts from going stale. Beat the softened butter with the vanilla sugar and then mix in the cooled off pudding continuously. Flavour with 2 tablespoons of rum. You can replace the pudding with 80 g of corn starch (Maizena). In that case, you will need vanilla extract or aroma for flavouring.
When working with a vanilla pod, scrape its content into the milk while cooking the pudding.
