How to prepare
Prepare the dough following the Puff dough recipe and roll it flat (5 mm) cutting out a square or rectangle (15x15 cm). Wash the apples and slice all of them thinly. Place 3-4 slices on each dough square. You can sprinkle the cakes with cinnamon and a pinch of brown sugar. Smear the overlapping dough with whipped egg. Bake in a preheated oven at 210 °C until golden. Once baked, coat with powdered sugar. To protect from going stale, you can smear each cake with a watered down light fruit preserve before coating with sugar.
