Zkoleduj se is a series of four advent charity concerts in various Czech cities. The idea was born in the head of the actor Petr Vaňek and his friends. The performers and the audience play and sing Christmas songs, be it popular carols or new arrangements. Elementary schools take part in the project with the aim of leading their pupils in the way of arts (yes, the pupils perform together with the actors) and, most importantly, with the aim of supporting the local social service providers (children’s homes, retirement homes, sheltered workshops and the like) which receive the proceeds from the concerts.
